- Scope
This Cancellation Policy applies to all B2B wholesale orders placed on kcdmart.com and processed through Bibhuti Bhusan Dutta (Spice) Trading Company.
- Order Cancellation by Customer
A customer may request cancellation of an order only before the Company initiates shipment. If shipment has already taken place, the order may still be cancelled only if the goods are not yet delivered and the customer agrees to bear the return‑transport cost and any associated logistics charges applicable under the prevailing delivery policy (Section 6 of Terms & Conditions).
- No Cancellation Fee on Customer
The Company will not levy any unilateral cancellation fee on the customer for orders cancelled in accordance with this policy. In case of any return‑related charges (transport, handling, etc.), the Company will clearly inform the customer before the cancellation is processed.
- Order Cancellation by the Company
Under Section 10 of the Terms & Conditions, the Company reserves the right to cancel or stop processing an order even after payment has been made, in its sole discretion. In such cases: The full amount will be refunded via the original payment mode (Razorpay or linked bank account).The Company will communicate the cancellation to the customer via email or phone within a reasonable time.
- Handling of Pending Orders
If a customer appoints a self‑delivery / self‑pickup(Ex-Godown) and fails to collect the packaged goods within 3 days of packaging completion (as per Section 4.6 of Terms & Conditions), the Company may: Treat the order as effectively cancelled; and Initiate a refund after deducting reasonable storage/handling charges, if imposed. These deductions will be pre‑informed to the customer before any adjustment.
- Razorpay / Bank‑Friendly Clause
All cancellations leading to refunds on kcdmart.com will be processed through the Razorpay payment gateway or linked bank accounts, in accordance with RBI guidelines and Razorpay’s operating rules. The Company will maintain clear records of all cancellations, refunds, and associated communications for audit and compliance purposes.
- Relationship with Other Policies
This Cancellation Policy is read along with: Section 4 (Order Placement & Payment Policy) Section 6 (Delivery Policy) Section 10 (Order Cancellation by Company) Any clause in this policy that contradicts the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or Consumer Protection (E‑Commerce) Rules, 2020 shall be treated as void to the extent of such conflict; the statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.
